Why We Do What We Do:

A staggering 88.6% of Nigeria's 41.5 million informal micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, (MSMEs), lack access to formal credit, or start-up finances to start a self-sustaining business, while 45% rely on sources such as borrowing from friends and family. This report published by the Swiss Capacity Building Facility in May, 2024, shows that the average Nigerian faces significant challenges in obtaining financial support to establish small businesses.
