Why we do what we do:
- Despite rural residents comprising about half of Nigeria's population, they have access to only approximately 12% of physicians and 19% of nurses. In the primary health centers, only 26% of essential medicines are available, as of 2019, with even lower availability in rural areas. (Source: PubMed Central).
Mission
At Jem-Crown Charity Foundation, we provide free, life-changing healthcare services to underserved rural communities, women, and children.
What We Do
- Free medicines and treatment for malaria, typhoid, and common illnesses.
- Free eye tests and reading glasses.
- Free dental care and routine checkups.
- Free blood pressure and sugar level tests.
- Free general routine health checkups.
- We ensure qualified healthcare workers attend to these health needs, offering care and hope to the vulnerable.
